PASS Marketplace is now an officially certified social enterprise through Buy Social Canada!

Buy Social Canada brings together purpose-driven purchasers and social value suppliers to generate social benefits for communities across the country. The Social Enterprise Certification process recognizes organizations that embed a social, cultural or environmental purpose into the business and reinvest the majority of profits into their social mission.

PASS Marketplace was created in response to the challenges young adults with autism face in acquiring meaningful and appropriate employment. PASS Marketplace began in 2016 by producing soy wax candles, in which every step in the candle-crafting process was carried out by young adults enrolled in the program. The response to our candles was overwhelmingly positive, and now Marketplace has expanded to include many other products.

PASS Members are still involved in every step of the process. Marketplace enables adults with autism to learn new skills and self-confidence, gain independence and succeed in the workplace.
