PASS Online

The PASS Online Learning Program (PASS Online) was created in March 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic was declared and public health restrictions mandated a temporary closure of our adult program.
PASS Online offers a comprehensive program that combines live teaching and active participation, with tools and resources available to members for study and practice at home. It is hosted on Moodle and supported by Zoom. The user-friendly platform allows our members to access learning tools easily, while allowing our team the flexibility to bridge the social development component with the learning and skills development component so integral to our in-person program.
Live classes run five hours per day, five days a week. As shown in the sample schedule below, these include weekly music, art, and social group therapy sessions led by highly qualified and trained ASD professionals. The team also produces a weekly newsletter that contains thirty or more pages of news, activities, stories, staff and student updates.
Additional resources for PASS Online members provide learning and practice sheets, and a dozen or more new videos uploaded each week. Videos are created in-house by our team and include cooking classes with recipes and instruction, fitness and exercise, and staged conversations between staff to demonstrate communication skills.
All PASS members can access this program as an adjunct to our regular in-person services or as a stand-alone program. Anyone interested in becoming a member of PASS Online only is invited to complete an Intake Application and submit it to our office.
